STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Hip Circles

Purpose:
Loosen up the hips
Steps:
 
  1. Stand with your legs about shoulder length apart.
  2. Place your hands at your hips.
  3. Make a circle with your hips, swaying out and around while trying to keep your body straight.
  4. Perform this exercise for about 20-30 seconds.

THOSE WITH BAD LOWER BACKS SHOULD SKIP THIS ONE!!!  

Please consult your doctor before trying any of these stretches. Beginner walkers may find them too stressful
