STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Rotate the Hips with your Arms Down

 

Purpose:

Loosen up the hips

Steps:
  1. Stand with your feet wider than shoulder's length apart.

  2. Hold both arms down.

  3. Swing your arms one forward the other back with palms facing back.

  4. As the arms swing, extend the hip forward.

  5. Perform this exercise for 20-30 seconds.

Please consult your doctor before trying any of these stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful.
